Synthwave, Chillwave, Chillout & Lofi
86 presets, painstakingly designed over five years — a ready-to-go toolbox of bass, leads, pads and arps for Sylenth1.
While Serum gets most of the attention, Sylenth1's smooth, analog-leaning filter has always suited these genres — and its low CPU footprint means you can layer without the fan spinning up. This pack leans on that: 86 sounds, pure Sylenth1, no external effects, built to be instantly usable and endlessly tweakable.
Biggest influences on this pack: the Roland Jupiter‑8, Sequential Prophet 5 (Tenalock owns one), Minimoog (via a Moog Little Phatty), Roland Juno 106, Korg Wavestation multipart pads, and the Casio CZ‑101 — plus a nod to Omnisphere's sound design team, some of the best in the business.
Every patch is playable straight out of the box, but the real value is in pulling them apart: study the modulation and layering choices to level up your own Sylenth1 programming.
Tips from the pack notes
Try the free TAL Chorus (button 2) on the Juno-style sounds — it edges out Sylenth1's own chorus for that particular flavour. Free TAL Filter is great for LFO-style sequenced filter movement. Layering two patches in an instrument rack gets surprisingly close to Omnisphere or Kontakt Classics territory. Free Valhalla reverb and Chow Matrix are both worth having on hand. Mixing at low volume and trimming 200–400Hz can help the low end sit cleaner in a full mix.
