Influenced by the Sequential Prophet 5 & Yamaha CS‑80
Analog modelling patches capturing the magic of the Sequential Prophet 5 and Yamaha CS‑80 on Hydrasynth's extensive parameter set. Key tracking varies modulation across the keyboard for subtle shifts in PWM, tone and phase.
Referenced against Tenalock's own Prophet 5, with video references used for CS‑80 flavours. Built by someone running a Yamaha CZ101, a Sequential Prophet 5, a Moog Little Phatty and a Korg DW‑8000 day to day for synthwave and chillwave production.
Vintage Analog Bass
Bass patches modelled on the Sequential Prophet 5, ARP, Roland Juno 60, Roland Jupiter‑8 and Moog Minimoog, plus a couple of Yamaha DX7 FM classics thrown in for good measure. Referenced against Tenalock's own Prophet 5, with online references used for Minimoog and Jupiter‑8 flavours.
A second filter envelope adds a subtle snap to the decay when combined with the mod 2 filter envelope — used carefully throughout this pack for realism without overdoing it.
Influenced by Roland Juno 106 Factory Bank A
64 sounds based on the Roland Juno 106's Factory Bank A — bread-and-butter subtractive patches used across four decades of records. Each one built from the init patch, with layered chorus and EQ standing in for the Juno's uncloneable chorus circuit.
Most patches are left raw so you can add your own reverb and delay — a touch of hall reverb and delay brings out that classic Juno magic.
Digital — Influenced by D‑50 & Wavestation
Soundscapes, layered pads and bass/lead splits influenced by the Roland D‑50 and Korg Wavestation, curated over two months of patch design. Not another set of traditional synth sounds — this pack leans into digital-era textures made for new ideas, from 80s synth pop and early dance through to Vangelis, Daft Punk and Aphex Twin.
